Gordon Brown:

Today our citizens’ jury is looking at all the issues that parents are worried about. Discipline in the schools, antisocial behaviour, the leadership in the schools. What’s happening when young people are exposed to video Internet violence. How we might deal with food and the additives to food and how parents can be better protected, so that we don’t have obesity and we don’t have changes in behaviour involved with that. These are all matters that parents, every parent in the country has strong views about, and we’ve got to listen to what they say.
