The Queen has approved that the Very Reverend Robert Andrew Willis BA DipTh, Dean of Hereford and Priest in Charge of Hereford Saint John the Baptist, be appointed Dean of Canterbury in succession to the Very Reverend John Arthur Simpson MA following his resignation on 30 November 2000.
