Knighthood conferred

The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Knighthood be conferred upon His Honour Judge David Roderick Evans, QC on his appointment as Justice of the High Court.

David Roderick Evans: Born in 1946 and educated at Bishop Gore Grammar School, Swansea; University College London (LLB, LLM). Called to the Bar, Gray’s Inn, 1970; QC, 1989; a Recorder 1987-92; a Circuit Judge since 1992; a Senior Circuit Judge since 1999; Resident Judge: Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court, 1994-98; Swansea Crown Court, 1998-99; Cardiff Crown Court, 1999-2001; Recorder of Cardiff, 1999-2001.
