The Prime Minister has appointed Mr Donald Moore as a Trustee of the National Gallery for a term of five years with effect from 5th July 2001.

Biographical Notes

Born in San Francisco, Mr Moore is an investment banker and has been Chairman of Morgan Stanley (Europe) since October 2000. He has not undertaken any significant political activity in the UK in the last five years.

Notes for Editors

The National Gallery houses the nation’s prime collection of European paintings from the 13th to 19thcenturies. Its Trustees are not remunerated.
