Suffragen See of Grimsby
The Queen has approved that the Reverend Canon David Douglas James Rossdale MA, Vicar of Cookham and Area Dean of Maidenhead, be appointed to the Suffragan See of Grimsby in the Diocese of Lincoln in succession to the Right Reverend David Tustin MA on his resignation on 13 April 2000.

Notes for the Editor
The Reverend Canon David Douglas Rossdale (born in 1953) was educated at King’s College London. He completed his training for the ministry at Chichester Theological College and then studied for his MA in Applied Theology in 1991. Before ordination he had experience in industry including two years in the Middle East. His curacy was in Upminster. From 1986 to 1990 he was Vicar of St Luke Moulsham before taking up his current appointment in 1990 as Vicar of Cookham, and has been Area Dean of Maidenhead since 1994
Canon David Rossdale is married to Karen who is Director of Therapy Services for a community health trust, and they have two sons. Beyond the church he is interested in health issues and is the lay member on the Maidenhead Primary Care Group. His interests include travel and cooking.
