The Prime Minister has appointed Mr Neville Walton as a Governor of the Museum of London for a term of three years.

Biographical Notes

Mr Walton is Director of Corporate Communications, Legal and General Group. He has worked for Legal and General since 1988 in a variety of senior posts. He will bring to the Museum extensive experience of the commercial world and provide advice to help its business side to flourish. Mr Walton has canvassed for the Conservative Party.

Notes for Editors

The Museum of London maintains and exhibits collections from the history of London from prehistoric times to the present day. It also provides the Museum of London Archaeology Service. Members of the Board are not remunerated.
