The Prime Minister has re-appointed Lady Copisarow, Miss Nina Campbell and Rodney Fitch Esq CBE as Trustees on the Board of the Victoria and Albert Museum for a further term of six months till 30th September 2000.

Biographical Notes

Lady Copisarow was appointed to the V & A in 1994. She is one of the original volunteer guides in the museum and also works with physically handicapped and visually impaired visitors. Miss Nina Campbell was first appointed to the V & A in 1991. Ms Campbell is an interior designer who has carried out commissions for many distinguished clients, both private and commercial. Ms Campbell is also a designer of fabric and wallpaper for interior design and is co-author, with Caroline Seebohm, of a book on Elsie de Wolfe, published in 1993 and "Nina Campbell on Decorating" published in 1996. She is a member of the Trustees’ Development, and Theatre Museum Committees. None of the above have undertaken any significant political activity in the past five years. Rodney Fitch Esq CBE was appointed to the V & A Board of Trustees in 1990. Mr Fitch is a designer and is the founder and Chief Executive of specialist design consultants, Rodney Fitch. He is deputy Chairman of the Court of Governors at the London Institute, he is a former member of the Design Council and of the Council of the Royal College of Art and a pas1t President of the Designers and Art Directors Association and of the Chartered Society of Designers. Mr Fitch is a member of the Trustees’ Wellington Museum Committee and is also a Director of the Museum’s trading company, V & A Enterprises Ltd. Mr Fitch is consultant designer to the Liberal Democrats and is, as such, responsible for the design and implementation of their visual identity.
