Canonry of St Paul's Cathedral

The Queen has approved that the Reverend Lucy Clare Winkett MA BD ARCM Warden of the College of Minor Canons and Chaplain of the Cathedral Church of St Paul, be appointed to a Residentiary Canonry of St Paul's Cathedral in succession to the Reverend Canon Stephen John Oliver AKC.

Notes for the Editors

The Reverend Lucy Clare Winkett (aged 35) studied at Selwyn College Cambridge and Queen's College Birmingham. She was Curate at Little Ilford St Michael, Chelmsford from 1995 to 1997. The Reverend Lucy Winkett has been Chaplain and Minor Canon at St Paul's Cathedral since 1997.

She lists her interests as modern art, music, cycling, cinema and theatre.

In addition to the traditional responsibilities associated with a Canonry at St Paul's, the Reverend Lucy Winkett will also be Canon Precentor with responsibility for the liturgical and musical life of the Cathedral.
