The Queen has been pleased to approve that the Lord Elis-Thomas AM and George Reid MSP be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council.

George Reid MSP: SNP Member of Parliament for Stirlingshire East and Clackmannan from 1974 to 1979. Member (SNP) Ochil, Scottish Parliament, (Mid Scotland and Fife, 1999 to 2003) and, Presiding Officer, Scottish Parliament, since 2003.
