"May all your prayers for a successful and sweet New Year be answered."
Read the Prime Minister’s message in full below:
As the High Holy Days approach, Jewish communities across the world are engaging in preparations for one of the most important periods in the Jewish calendar. A time for introspection and contemplation, it provides a unique opportunity to reflect on personal and communal achievements over the past year. The solemnity and sincerity of the occasion also serves to inspire renewed pride in the rich and ancient traditions which have been passed down through history. This sense of continuity is a key theme of Rosh Hashanah as each New Year builds on the foundations of the preceding one, inspiring a feeling of optimism and confidence in anticipation of the fresh challenges that lie ahead. May all your prayers for a successful and sweet New Year be answered.
Wishing you all a Shanah Tovah.
Tony Blair
