Tony Blair answered questions on the Education White Paper, city academies and the Iraqi elections during his monthly Downing Street press conference.

Other topics included incapacity benefits, Iran, "extraordinary rendition", policing and Northern Ireland.

In his introduction the PM focused on the welfare Green Paper, which will be published tomorrow.
